dc.description.abstractWave propagation along a rectangular multiple groove guide is rigorously studied. The Fourier transform is used to obtain simultaneous equations for the modal coefficients in rapidly-convergent form. The dispersion characteristics of a multiple groove guide and its field distribution plots are presented. The coupling coefficient and loss characteristics are also calculated.eng
