The packet collision in slotted ALOHA and FH-CDMA network deteriorates the performance of the networks. Moreover, it causes the slotted ALOHA network to be unstable. In this dissertation, we introduce the two control schemes i.e. input control scheme and input and retransmission control scheme to improve the throughput and packet delay performance of slotted ALOHA and FH-CDMA/slotted ALOHA networks. In addition, we suggest the input rate estimation scheme necessary to the network analysis practically. The input control scheme is to adapt the admission probability for the better packet delay performance compared to the retransmission control scheme. The input and retransmission control scheme is suggested to make up for the shortcoming of the input control scheme and take the advantage of the input and retransmission control scheme at the same time. The estimation of the input rate is suggested to obtain the unknown input rate necessary to analyze the network in practice.
