dc.description.abstractReverberation chamber built in ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) was modeled using FDTD method. Two different scenarios were set to check the validity of FDTD method in modeling the reverberation chamber. Both scenarios used dipole antenna operating at 750MHz as transmitting and receiving antenna. For the actual measurement, S21 parameters were collect using the network analyzer. For the FDTD simulation, S21 parameters were calculated under the modeled geometry of the chamber. First scenario did not use the platform stirring and second scenario did use the platform stirring. The results were compared to find out how the environment inside the chamber differs. It has been shown that the platform stirring increases the field’s uniformity and this was also realized by FDTD method. As a result, it has been shown that the FDTD method was valid for modeling the reverberation chamber.eng
