dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we studied the block diagonalization scheme in multiuser MIMO communication systems with other cell interference. It supports multiple stream transmission to multi-user with spatial division in the same time and frequency slots. There are many researches for multi-user single cell environments and recently multi-cell problem is considered. The proposed scheme do not cancel perfectly inter-user interference but suppress the interference adaptively and provide high achievable capacity and better performance for bit-error rate. We confirm that performances by numerical simulation results. There are requirement that the number of transmit antennas is more than the sum of the number of receive antennas but, this can be resolved by TDMA or FDMA schemes. Additionally, if we apply user selection algorithms, better performance can be expected.eng
