dc.description.abstractThis paper attempts to identify the mechanisms through which maternal education affects child health through her time allocation. Estimating a LISREL system of production functions for child health with the 1994 Korean household survey data, it is shown that a mothers education promotes her childs health by allocating a greater amount of time for leisure.-
