dc.description.abstract | Narrow bandwidth between computers and humans limits the usage of computers up to their potential. The virtual reality technology has the goal at the expansion of the communication channel bandwidth by providing users with three dimensional immersive environments. For the true direct manipulation of the environments, fast collision detection must be provided to increase the reality. In this paper we suggest a collision detection scheme for virtual reality applications. It includes a collision detection algorithm between two hierarchical objects by utilizing a devised structure C-tree. | eng |
