dc.description.abstractThis thesis describes the design and implementation of the automatic routing system which automatically lays out a two-sided printed circuit board. The system that we developed consists of a board description language, an interpreter, a routing algorithm and a line drawing routine. The routing algorithm is based on Lee``s algorithm, with some significant modification. Experimental results show that the system performs satisfactorily for a medium sized digital board, with high density, using bit-slice microprocessors.eng
