dc.description.abstract | The FFT method or electric IDM method used when converting to far-field based on data measured in the existing near field area has the disadvantage of being inaccurate or complicated in calculation in a spherical coordinate system. To solve this problem, a method using magnetic IDM was proposed. It can be seen that this method is not only very simple to calculate, but also the measurement results are very accurate. Additionally, the great circle test method has the disadvantage of taking a long time to measure, but by optimizing the number of measurement points, the measurement time could be significantly reduced compared to the existing method. This proposed method is expected to be able to measure quickly and accurately when testing antennas built into mobile phones in Japanese industrial companies. | - |
