As the power consumption of data center increases, there is a higher demand for increased power and faster current variation performance in on-device memory and processors. Existing buck converters have drawbacks such as handling all loads in a single inductor or experiencing significant current imbalance in high power states. In this paper, a 12V to 1V converter is proposed, where the current flows evenly into four branches when generating an output power. The proposed circuit also detects the output voltage to achieve fast current recovery for rapid current variation performance.
