dc.description.abstractmeanwhile, the idler (810 nm) was collected with a spatially resolving detector, an electron-multiplying charge-coupled device (EMCCD) camera. We have considered the experimental condition to reveal the image by gating the camera conditioned to the photon detection on the bucket detector. The image reconstruction is calculated by summing single frames of a few photons per exposure time and measuring the correlation in both arms.-
dc.description.abstractWe present the experimental study on two-color quantum “heralded” imaging based on coincidence counting of correlated photon pairs. For producing photon pairs, we employed highly non-degenerate photons at wavelengths centered on 810 nm and 1550 nm, which are generated from type-0 periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal via quasi-phase matching spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC). We have obtained the quasi-phase match conditions for a $7.50 \mu m$ crystal poling period at a temperature of 78.9 deg C. The signal (1550 nm) beam was used to illuminate the object and collected into a bucket detector (InGaAs SPDM)-
