With the advancement of wearable devices, stretchable organic solar cells have attracted attention as a prominent constant power source. To be applicable to wearable devices, a solar cell must maintain its performance under a strain of over 40 %, necessitating the stretchability in all layers. PEDOT:PSS, a conductive polymer commonly used in organic solar cells, has been identified as the layer where cracks occur first during stretching. Overcoming this challenge requires a strategy that simultaneously enhances the electrical and mechanical properties of the material. This thesis explores the simultaneous improvement of the electrical and mechanical properties of conductive polymers through ionic liquid doping, and the associated mechanisms were investigated. Ionic liquid doped polymer films were successfully applied to stretchable substrates through the transfer method in fabricating stretchable organic solar cells. Performance and flexibility evaluations demonstrated the applicability of ionic liquid doped conductive polymers in stretchable photovoltaic devices.
