dc.description.abstractSelf-Assembled Monolayers (SAMs) of various acid/base thiols were prepared on gold surface, and their surface $pK_a$ values were obtained by measuring interfacial capacitance, cyclic voltammogram (CV), and contact angle. It was shown that the obtained surface $pK_a$ values of each method are same, and they are dependent on the environmental hydrophilicity of the acid/base functional groups.eng
