dc.description.abstractAVEC is a power assist wheelchair system which has an intuitive interface the elderly population can use more easily. In the process of the iterative design cycle, we conducted field interviews with target users including contextual inquiry. The result data implies that AVEC improved usability of the wheelchair and enriched communication between passengers and caregivers.-
