Reactions utilizing radical intermediate have an exceptional position in synthetic organic chemistry. On the one hand, these reactions are often presented the selectivity issues due to the high free energy of the involved intermediate, so the need for a study that selectively activates the desired bonding under mild condition is required. This thesis describes the development of a regioselective carbon-hydrogen bond functionalization via controlling nitrogen-centered radical under visible light, and the synthetic method of various nitrogen-containing molecules through an unprecedented reaction pathway. We devised a novel methodology for the discovery of high-value compounds based on a polar-radical relay mechanism using environmental-friendly energy in a catalyst-free system. Through this strategy, we provide the evolution of new functionally and structurally diverse synthetic methods as follows: (i) selective amide formation of aldehydes (ii) sustainable amidation research utilizing practical amidating reagent (iii) development of amination reaction to produce alpha-amino cyclic amine compounds.
