dc.description.abstract | In this paper, an antenna analysis and diagnostics based on the source reconstruction method using infinitesimal dipole are presented. This paper explains a method for improving the low-resolution antenna diagnostic image and the low accuracy of the far-field pattern at low elevation angle, which are disadvantages of the fast Fourier transform-based method commonly used for antenna analysis and diagnosis. As a result, using the proposed method, a greatly improved antenna diagnostic image could be obtained, and the far-field pattern could also be analyzed so closely to the actual pattern. In addition, this paper deals with the improvement of diagnosis using active element current patterns and optimization algorithm to improve the inaccurate diagnosis performance of the image-based diagnosis method. The image-based diagnosis has a limit to the extent to which the location of a problematic element could be roughly estimated. However, when the proposed method is used, the error value applied to the element could be estimated close to the actual value. | - |
