In nature, visual animals use spectral information to communicate, seek food, and sexual selection. Among them, it is known that the Horse-fly eye exhibits more subtle color vision changes due to the combination of the spectral absorbance of photo receptors and multi-layered structural color filters in the cornea. This study conducted a study of an ultrathin Multispectral camera inspired by the color vision of the Horse-fly. Various spectral imaging was performed through a combination of a Fabry-Perot color filter array with a narrow full width at half maximum (FWHM), a micro lens array, and an image sensor. The color reproduction range was increased up to 2.16 times compared to the existing color gel-type Bayer filter, and multiplex fluorescence imaging of FITC, Cy3, and Cy5 was performed. This provides new opportunity for point-of-care testing (POCT) and medical applications.-
