dc.description.abstract | In modern manufacturing systems, accurate prediction on product cycle time and its optimization are important issues which directly connected to profitability. The queueing network model has been used in various fields in the theory and industry of the production systems. We presents queueing network model that is useful for predicting product cycles in manufacturing systems, mainly for deterministic production paths. Based on this, we suggest the model to find the optimal preventive maintenance plan which brings the reduction of cycle time. Further, we extend the heterogeneous workers and tasks allocation problem into queuing network model. | - |
