dc.description.abstractThe chief aim of this study is to design an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor with non-contact electrode which is able to monitor the real-time ECG signal when the subject is at rest. The system uses a non-contact active electrode made from a printed circuit board and applies active shielding and Driven Right Leg (DRL) technology to eliminate major interference. The experimental results show that the system can successfully obtain continuous and clean ECG signals when the subject is lying down, and the R-peak of signal can be recognized obviously, which is valuable for medical analysis.-
