dc.description.abstract | Axial fuel staging methods are expected to play a crucial role in elevating the turbine inlet temperature in an attempt to achieve higher combined cycle efficiency without producing severe NOx emissions. To fully utilize the performance benefits of this method, it is necessary to comprehend the combustion dynamics resulting from the existence of multiple discrete reaction zones and their interactions. Our results show that the combustion instabilities can be driven solely by the secondary flame dynamics. | - |
