실리카담지메탈로센촉매를이용한이중분자량분포를지니는폴리에틸렌의제조방법PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYETHYLENE HAVING BIMODAL DISTRIBUTION USING SILICA-SUPPORTED METALLOCENE CATALYST
본 발명은 실리카 담지 메탈로센 촉매 및 그를 이용한 이정분자량 분포(bimodal distribution)를 지니는 폴리에틸렌의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 좀더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 실리카 담체에 디시클로펜타디에닐티타늄 디클로라이드를 담지시킨 실리카 담지 메탈로센 촉매 및 그를 이용한 이정분자량 분포(bimodal distribution)를 지니는 폴리에틸렌의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 종래의 혼합촉매 대신에 실리카 담체의 개선을 통하여 이정분자량 분포(bimodal distribution)를 지니는 폴리에틸렌을 제조할 수 있는 단일의 실리카 담지 메탈로센 촉매를 제조할 수 있으며, 전기 촉매를 사용하여 경제적으로 이정분자량 분포(bimodal distribution)를 지니는 폴리에틸렌을 제조할 수 있다는 것이 밝혀졌다.
