dc.description.abstractThe importance of CO2 conversion technology is being highlighted as a key option to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Among the various CO2 conversion technologies presented so far, CO2 mineralization technology is considered to be superior to other technologies in terms of potential CO2 reduction and project economics. Thus, for the development of sustainable CO2 conversion technology, the CO2 mineralization process consisting of CO2 carbonation and saline water electrolysis reaction is designed and the technical feasibility is evaluated based on the bench scale performance test. It then presents the feasibility of CO2 reduction and commercialization of technologies through the economic and environmental assessment of commercial CO2 mineralization plants.-
