사용자의 사용특성을 고려한 전력 사용량 예측 방법 및 장치가 제시된다. 본 발명에서 제안하는 사용자의 사용특성을 고려한 전력 사용량 예측 방법은 일반 로드 프로파일 및 잔류 로드 프로파일을 추출하기 위해 로 데이터(raw data)를 클러스터링하는 단계, 추출된 일반 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스 및 잔류 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스를 임베딩하는 단계, 일반 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스 및 잔류 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스에 대한 LSTM 트레이닝을 수행하는 단계, 일반 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스 및 잔류 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스를 예측하는 단계 및 예측된 일반 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스 및 잔류 로드 프로파일의 시퀀스를 결합하는 단계를 포함한다.
