dc.description.abstract | We systematically investigate kinetics of Cd-to-Pb and Cd-to-Zn cation exchange reactions in anisotropic CdSe nanorods using absorption spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and surface analysis based on X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. By exploring various cation exchange reactions with diffusion models, we quantitatively understand the kinetics of cation exchange reactions within the nanostructures. Also, from investigations with primary, secondary and tertiary amines in cation exchange reactions, it turns out that cation exchange reactions are significantly affected by metal-surface ligand interactions. | - |
