dc.description.abstract | Recently, as low-frequency radars have attracted attention as a counter stealth technology, stealth technology also requires broadband performance. Since the electromagnetic wave absorber must be thickened for a broad bandwidth performance, the existing radar absorbing structure applied to the surface of a structure is limited in aspects of its volume and weight. As an alternative, an electromagnetic wave absorber is manufactured using a light material such as a dielectric honeycomb core, so that the weight increase of the entire structure can be suppressed even if the electromagnetic wave absorber occupies a large volume. This thesis investigates the electromagnetic absorption characteristics by applying a conductive coating to a dielectric honeycomb core and examines the effect on the RCS reduction fabricating a honeycomb absorber. | - |
