Digital reproduction of the scene is widely used in the entertainment industry and the building industry. Digital reproduction consists of three major processes: modeling scene representation, scene reconstruction, and scene rendering. In this dissertation, we try to solve the fundamental problems for each digital reproduction process. First, due to the limitation of a capture system, it is impossible to completely reconstruct the rear scene because a forward object occludes a rear object. We use a Laplacian pyramid to propagate the structure and keep details during scene completion. Secondly, we study bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) modeling for multiple scattering in rough surfaces for realistic scene rendering for the surface appearance of the scene. Our kaleidoscopic ray analysis can formulate multiple scattering in an analytic model. Finally, we explore real-time scene reconstruction in high fidelity. We propose a novel texture representation can contain high-fidelity texture in runtime. Besides, we estimate locally-varying camera motion warp fields to align local textures.
