In this dissertation, we address cropping-resilient 3D mesh watermarking techniques. Cropping attack refers to the intentional removal of watermarked mesh surface by malicious users. To overcome the cropping attack, we propose robust 3D watermarking schemes and demonstrate their effectiveness. First, we propose a novel watermarking technique that uses the maximum inscribed sphere for embedding. Second, we use mesh segmentation to embed watermark on each segment of the model. we also propose a hybrid approach of first two techniques, which shows better results. Finally, we demonstrate our novel reconstruction-based cropping resilient watermarking technique with experiments.
