dc.description.abstractMicrophase separation is a properties of linear block copolymer and there are many research results related to these areas. Usually, in case of linear block copolymer, by changing side chain length, different kinds of morphology are appeared. On the other hand, in case of bottlebrush block copolymer, the difference of side chain length also makes morphology changed. We assumed that morphology of linear block copolymer would be changed by grafting another polymer to branch. Using PPFPA40-PS60 block copolymer, we synthesized bottlebrush block copolymer by post-polymerization modification that utilize active PFP group on the PPFPA side chain. The PEG grafted PPFPA-b-PS was then characterized by small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). According to the molecular weight and grafting density of PEG, we observed that morphology of bottlebrush block copolymer was changed.-
