dc.description.abstractTwo hybridoma cell lines that secrete anti-botulinum neurotoxin type A were screened by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) after fusion of myeloma cell line SP2/0 Ag 14 with splenocytes isolated from Balb/c mouse immunized with the antigens prepared by SDS-PAGE and toxoid. These cell lines were named BTAM1 and BTAM2. BTAM1 and BTAM2 secrete Ig M and Ig A, respectively. BTAM1 have a weak crossreactivity to botulinum neurotoxin type B. Both antibodies are not able to neutralize the toxicity of toxin used as antigen.eng
