dc.description.abstract | We used the semi-classical approach in quantum gravity and discussed the two issues on the information loss problem, the firewall paradox and the ER = EPR conjecture. We investigated some examples inconsistent with the ER=EPR conjecture. We found a bouncing wormhole solution in some regions of parameter space. Also, we found that thin-shells on the left side of the Schwarzschild geometry tunnel to the right side with exponentially high probabilities in some regions of parameter space. Next, we argued about the existence of firewalls. We investigated the causal structures of the Schwarzschild like geometry in a string theory model. Also, we demonstrated the Hayden-Preskill protocol using a simulation code and discussed the role of the firewalls on the protocol. Finally, we discussed the implications of them on the information loss problem. | - |
