In the expeditiously changing state of affairs in the world, advances in scientific technology are continually being established to survive in intense competition. As technology advances, energy consumption increases, so the demand for high energy storage devices is increasing day by day. In keeping with this trend, the development of anode materials for next-generation lithium-ion batteries has been underway for the past 30 years, but still fails to address fundamental problems reduced capacity due to high volume expansion and formation of unstable solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer. In this thesis, I propose a battery configuration suitable for a high capacity battery using silicon and lithium, which are next-generation anode materials, and understand the interficial phenomena occurring on the electrode surface during charging and discharging through various material and electrochemical analysis and try to find the possibility of commercialization.
