Solution processable quantum dots are promising materials for optoelectronic device. In addition, it is possible to tune the band gap depending on its size. In the solar cell research field, the quantum dots researches are actively proceeded because of multiple exciton generation, which is a unique phenomenon by quantum confinement effect. In the light emitting diode research field, the quantum dots are also regarded as promising materials because it has very narrow emission wavelength which determining color purity. However, if the quantum dot solution has large size distribution, it is unsuitable for use as optoelectronic device because each different size quantum dots have different band gaps. Therefore, the study for narrowing size distribution of quantum dots have been regarded as important research. Here, we studied the synthesis of quantum dot solutions which have very narrow size distribution with any defect. In this paper, the synthesis environment of the quantum dots, the rinsing and isolation process of the synthesized quantum dots were modified to synthesize lead sulfide and perovskite quantum dots which has very narrow size distribution with any defect. Moreover, the solar cells using the synthesized lead sulfide quantum dots were fabricated, which reported 12.159 % power conversion efficiency at AM 1.5.
