스로틀 기법을 활용한 멀티 코어 시스템에 관한 것으로, 일 실시예에 따른 멀티 코어 시스템은 둘 이상의 코어와, 각 코어로부터 전달된 상태 정보를 기초로, 응용 동작 중에 단계적으로 스로틀링(throttling)함으로써 최적 코어의 수를 결정하고, 최적 코어의 수가 유지되도록 파워를 조절하는 작업 스케줄러를 포함할 수 있다.
