Finite element stress analysis of clamped honeycomb sandwich plate under uniformly distributed load유한요소법에 의한 분포하중을 받는 고정지지된 Honeycomb sandwich 평판의 응력해석
A finite element computer program for the stress analysis of honeycomb sandwich structure is developed. This program can treat sandwich plate and shell with anisotropic faces and core of nonconstant thickness. Computational results are presented for stress distributions of a clamped honeycomb sandwich plate subjected to uniformly distributed load. Attention was given to the effect of the change of core property on face stresses.
It is found that face stresses are affected by the change of shear modulus and the orientation of principal material axes of core. In orthotropic face sandwich, structurally desirable orientation of core principal material axes is one at which the strong axis of face is aligned with the strong axis of core.
