Hepatic macrophages play an important role not only in maintaining normal liver function, but also in the pathogenesis of liver disease. Therefore, many researches have been conducted on the mechanism of hepatic macrophage regulation and the treatment of liver diseases using it. In obesity and metabolic diseases, eosinophils have been reported to play an important role in maintaining homeostasis of metabolic function by controlling macrophages in adipose tissue. However, the mechanism by which eosinophils regulate hepatic macrophages in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease has not been well studied. In Part Ⅰ of this study, I confirmed that hepatic eosinophils inhibit non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by modulating the inflammatory function of hepatic monocytes. In addition, I found that fat-accumulated hepatocytes secrete microvesicles enriched with phosphatidylserine. I investigated the mechanism that hepatic eosinophils produced and secrete interleukin-4 by signal transduction by phosphatidylserine of microvesicles. Hepatic macrophages also play an important role in the pathogenesis of alcoholic fatty liver disease. In Part Ⅱ of this study, I found that hepatic monocytes differentiate into hepatic macrophages and studied the mechanism that the differentiation is mediated by $CX_3CR1$ signaling. In addition, $CX_3CR1$ signaling promoted the inflammatory function of differentiated hepatic macrophages, thereby exacerbating alcoholic fatty liver disease.-
