Reformulation of Null Space of Kernel Within-Class Scatter in Kernel Discriminant Analysis

Abstract

In this paper, by making use of the symmetry and positive semi-definiteness of the kernel matrix, we eventually express the null space of the kernel within-class scatter equivalently as the space determined by an equation of the data and labels.
