플루오로알킬 카르복실산 또는 플루오로알킬 카르복실 할라이드 또는 플루오로알킬 슬폰산 또는 플루오로알킬 술포닐 할라이드를 하이드록실기 또는 아민기, 또는 하이드록실기와 아민기를 동시에 함유하는 아크릴계 단량체, 또는 하이드록실기 또는 아민기를 함유하는 스티렌계 단량체, 또는 하이드록실기를 가지는 비닐 에테르계 단량체와 에스테르화 반응 또는 아미드화 반응시켜서 플루오로 알킬기를 가지는 단량체를 제조하고, 이 단량체를 단독 중합시키거나, 또는 이 단량체 5-100중량미만을, 실리콘을 함유하는 단량체 0-60중량, 비닐계 단량체 0-60중량, 가교 단량체 0-10중량 및 친수성 단량체 0-5중량와 공중합시킨 산소 투과능이 우수한 콘택트 렌즈 제조용 중합체가 개시된다.
