본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 멀티 캐리어 생성기 기반 코히어런트 광통신 시스템은 레퍼런스 신호를 출력하는 광 소스(reference optical source), 및 상기 레퍼런스 신호에 기반하여 복수의 모드에 해당하는 광 빗을 생성하고, 상기 복수의 모드에 해당하는 광 빗을 통하여 복수의 트랜시버(transceiver)를 구동하는 적어도 2이상의 센트럴 오피스(central office)를 포함할 수 있다.
