적혈구의 광 특성을 이용한 당화혈색소 농도 측정 방법 및 장치가 제시된다. 적혈구의 광 특성을 이용한 당화혈색소 농도 측정 방법에 있어서, 매질 상에 소정 양의 혈액을 배치하는 단계; 상기 매질에 광원을 조사하는 단계; 상기 매질을 투과 또는 반사한 빛의 세기 진동을 측정하는 단계; 및 측정된 상기 빛의 세기 진동의 크기를 기설정된 기준에 따라 분석하여 당뇨병 환자 가능성 여부를 판별하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
