본 발명은 아르마딜로 반복 도메인 2(Armadillo repeat domain 2, AR2) 폴리펩타이드 또는 상기 폴리펩타이드를 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 아르마딜로(Armadillo) 폴리펩타이드의 AR2 도메인 및 Klp64D의 꼬리 도메인이 Arm-Klp64D 결합에 필수적인 역할을 하고, Klp64D 꼬리 도메인이 Arm의 AR2 도메인과 결합하여 Wg 신호에 중요한 역할을 하며. AR2 반복 부위가 Wg 신호를 강력하게 저해하는 것을 확인함으로써, 본 발명의 아르마딜로 반복 도메인 2 폴리펩타이드 또는 상기 폴리펩타이드를 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드는 암 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물로 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
