dc.description.abstractWe point out that the gamma-gamma distribution derived in the above letter does not satisfy the equation for the scintillation index in the presence of beam wander. In this comment, we present a new derivation of the distribution and show that the previously derived distribution overestimates the effects of beam wander.-
