dc.description.abstract | Drug repositioning provides low price and safety than traditional drug development process. Most of existing drug repositioning cases are based on serendipity of researchers. Many systematic approaches, comparing drug target and relation between drug and disease genes, for disease repositioning are developed to overcome the serendipity. However, these approaches do not contain the mechanism of action of drug on diseases. For drug repositioning with drug comparing, it needs to see the mechanism of action of drug on biological pathways of diseases. In this study, we infer the new indication of drugs by comparing effect of drugs on subpathways of disease pathway. | - |
