We address storage and its applications in wireless networks. Handling exploding mobile traffic is difficult by current mobile resource. Massive MIMO and cell desification are known to be a promising techniques to resolve this, but it also faces physical limitation of cost problem. In this context, we proposed a distributed storage allocation in wireless network considering data storing as well as data recovery. For High and low SNR, maximal symmetric allocation and minimal allocation with complete storage are shown to be optimal respectively. Based on fundamental researches, we also investigated its applications in wireless cellular network. Similarly, optimal file fraction at helper was investigated. Furthermore, to deal with exploding mobile video traffic, multicast transmission with prefix caching is studied for asynchronous requests of the same files. Tight upper and lower bounds for transmission time was given and convexity of transmission time in term of rate is also shown. Due to multicast effect, prefix allocation is counter intuitively changed.
