Graphene is two dimensional materials which contains unlimited number of honeycomb lattice of $sp^2$ hybridized carbon. Inspiring of their unique mechanical and electrical properties, graphene has been emerged as a next generation materials. However, its one-atomic thickness and high chemical stability limit its process and manufacture for industrial application. In this thesis, assembly of graphene based 2 dimensional nanomaterial has been studied for multipurpose. Graphene oxide, a chemically modified graphene was mainly used for building block. Its liquid crystalline property was exploited for directionally ordered polymer composite and mechanically strong and conductive fiber. After then, those graphene based materials were utilized for application on electrochemical catalysis. First, I observed selective doping effect on small and large graphene oxide obtained from liquid crystal phase separation process, and their catalytic activity on oxygen reduction reaction were investigated. Second, hydrogen evolution catalyst with low electrical conductivity was uniformly deposited on the graphene fiber and we studied improved hydrogen evolution reaction activity through synergistic effect of the hybrid catalyst.-
