EPG 서비스 제어 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. EPG 서비스 제어 방법 및 장치는 제1 지역에 위치한 사용자로부터 입력된 시간별로 제1 지역 EPG 서비스를 설정하고, 사용자가 제1 지역과 시차가 발생하는 제2 지역으로 이동하는 것을 검출하고, 사용자가 제2 지역으로 이동하는 것을 검출하면, 제1 지역과 제2 지역간의 시차를 이용하여 제1 지역 EPG 서비스를 제2 지역 EPG 서비스로 변경한다.
