본 발명은 고리형 올레핀 부가중합용 촉매 화합물 및 고리형 올레핀 중합체 제조방법에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 고리형 올레핀 부가중합용 촉매로 두 개의 질소주게 리간드를 포함하는 8∼10족 금속 착화합물 사용하고, 상기의 고리형 올레핀 부가중합용 촉매 및 조촉매 존재하에서 고리형 올레핀 단량체를 중합하여 고리형 올레핀 중합체를 제조하는 방법에 관한것이다.
