본 발명은 본태성 진전증(essential tremor)이 유발된 α1/CaV 3.1 이중 녹아웃 마우스 및 이를 이용한 본태성 진전증 치료제의 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 α1/CaV3.1 이중 녹아웃 마우스는 α1 녹아웃 마우스에 비해, 육안으로 확인할 수 있을 정도로 강하고 뚜렷한 본태성 진전증 징후를 보이므로 본태성 진전증에 대한 치료제 개발에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
