본 발명은 빌리루빈과 친수성 고분자를 포함하는 복합체가 가자-조립하여 형성된 빌리루빈 나노입자, 이의 용도 및 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 빌리루빈 나노입자는 빛 또는 활성산소 자극에 의하여 와해됨으로써 내부에 봉입한 약물을 외부로 방출시킬 수 있다. 본 발명의 빌리루빈 나노입자는 항산화 활성, 항-신생혈관형성 활성, 항암 활성 및 항염 활성을 나타낸다.
