X-ray tube is a device generating high energy photon by accelerating and colliding electron beam emitted from electron emitter to target material. Since discovered X-ray by Roentgen, several types of X-ray tubes are developed. X-ray tube has been used in many fields. In the industrial field, it subdivided into none-destructive inspection, material analysis and dust extractor. In the medical field, it subdivided into radiography and radiation therapy. Miniature x-ray tube is small X-ray tube which has many advantages for various application. Due to its small size, it is easy to transport, has high accuracy in area of treatment and easy to shield from the X-rays emanating. Because of these advantages, the miniature X-ray tube is developing to substitute another radiation source or normal X-ray tube. Vacuum sealed miniature X-ray tube with 7mm diameter and 47mm length has been designed and fabricated using CNT(Carbon nano tube) field emitter and focusing electrode, beryllium window with tungsten target. The purpose of this study is to improvement in the X-ray dose uniformity of a miniature x-ray for using it in radiation therapy and especially in keloid or skin-cancer treatment. To meet this condition, development of shielding material and flattening filter is needed. Firstly, in order to make, design the both object by applying attenuation effect then calculate the dose radial uniformity of that design by running the MCNP code simulation.
