Abstract

This paper proposes the design of automatic expert classification and intelligent knowledge recommendation functionalities in Scientific and Technological Knowledge Portal. The expert classification and knowledge recommendation functions are performed based on users activities, work products, and documents in the knowledge portal using a text categorization technique. This paper describes the detailed structures and processes of categorizing experts and recommending customized information.
