| dc.description.abstract | 최근 그래프 데이터를 다루는 응용의 규모와 사용자의 수가 급격히 증가함에 따라 효율적인 그래프 분석연산을 지원하는 그래프 데이터베이스 시스템에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그래프 분석 연산은 반복적으로인접 노드를 검색하는 특징이 있으므로 인접 노드 검색을 효율적으로 지원하는 것이 중요하다. 자체 저장 시스템 기반 그래프 데이터베이스 시스템은 인접 노드의 검색에 특화된 저장 시스템을 사용하여 빠른 성능의그래프 분석 연산을 제공한다. 그러나 원본 데이터가 DBMS에 저장된 경우, 이를 이전해야 하는 오버헤드가있으며, 데이터베이스의 다양한 기능을 응용에서 사용할 수 없는 한계를 가진다. 이에 본 논문에서는 DBMS 기반 그래프 데이터베이스 시스템인 오디세우스/Graph를 설계하고 구현한다. 오디세우스/Graph에서는 각노드의 인접 노드들에 대한 정보를 함께 저장함으로써 인접 노드 검색을 효율적으로 지원할 수 있다. 또한, 그래프 데이터베이스 시스템의 기능을 DBMS에 밀결합함으로써 데이터 의 외부 인출을 방지하여 성능을 향상시킨다. 실험을 통하여 오디세우스/Graph의 그래프 분석 성능이 그래프 데이터베이스 시스템의 기능을DBMS와 소결합한 시스템에 비해 최대 14.06배 빠름을 보인다. | - |
